SEVERN VALLEY RAILWAY: RESILIENCE FUND

Earlier this year, the Severn Valley Railway was hit by a major landslip between Bridgnorth and Hampton Loade, closing part of the line and creating a huge challenge for the heritage railway. Like many in the railway community, we wanted to do something to help. Over the past 10 years, SVR volunteers have been an enormous support to us at Modelu, giving their time, knowledge and enthusiasm to help us create authentic railway figures. To recognise that, we have launched a special Severn Valley Resilience Fund set of eight figurines, all based on real SVR volunteers. The pack includes current and retired team members in their authentic poses and uniforms, from drivers and firemen to inspectors and signalmen. Every figure was captured using our 3D scanning rig to ensure lifelike detail, right down to the last button and stance. We are donating 50% of every sale of this set directly to the SVR Resilience Fund, supporting the repair work needed to get the full line open again. The figurines are available in N, OO and O scales, with prices starting at £25.49. You can find the set on our website here.
