Shipping policy

Shipping is by Royal Mail, and tracked orders are provided with a tracking number once your order has shipped. Please allow up to 20 working days for your order to be prepared. Shipping times may vary depending on seasonal fluctuations and our events calendar. If you have placed an order, you can track its progress and place reorders directly from your Modelu account.

United Kingdom Orders

UK prices include UK VAT. Orders are shipped from our studio in the United Kingdom using the Royal Mail service selected at checkout.

Germany – Taxes & Duties Paid

Orders to Germany are shipped from the United Kingdom using a Delivered Duties Paid (DDP) service.

German VAT is included in the prices shown to customers in Germany, and applicable import duties are calculated as part of the order. This means there should be no additional VAT, customs duty or carrier handling charges to pay on delivery.

If you are contacted by a carrier requesting payment of import VAT or duty for a German order, please contact us before making payment so that we can investigate.

Other EU Orders

For customers in other European Union countries, UK VAT is removed from our prices.

Your order may be subject to local import VAT, customs duty and carrier handling fees before delivery. These charges are set by the destination country and/or delivery carrier and are not included in our product or shipping prices unless stated otherwise.

From 1 July 2026, low-value imports into the EU may also be subject to a flat customs duty in addition to import VAT and any carrier administration charges.

If import charges are due, your parcel may be held by the carrier until payment is made. Unfortunately, we are unable to reimburse these charges for refused or unclaimed shipments.

United States Orders

Orders to the United States are shipped from the United Kingdom using a Delivered Duties Paid (DDP) service.

For US customers, UK VAT is removed from our prices and our US pricing is adjusted to account for the applicable US import tariff. This means you should not normally be charged additional import duty on delivery.

If you are contacted by a carrier requesting import duty or tariff payment, please contact us before paying so that we can investigate.

International Orders – Other Countries

For customers outside the United Kingdom, European Union, Germany and United States, UK VAT is removed or adjusted from our prices where appropriate.

Depending on your destination, your order may be subject to local import VAT, customs duty, taxes or carrier handling fees on arrival. These charges are set by your local customs authority and/or delivery carrier and are not included in our product or shipping prices unless stated otherwise.

Any import charges due are the responsibility of the recipient. Parcels may be held by the carrier or customs authority until payment is made.

We are unable to reimburse import taxes, duties or carrier fees charged by destination authorities, and we cannot refund these charges where a shipment is refused or left unclaimed.
