PHOTO TO FIGURE
Our Photo to Figure service helps turn a treasured photograph into a custom miniature figure.
Whether you’re recreating a loved one, preserving a family memory, adding a personal figure to a model railway, or bringing an old photograph back to life in miniature, we create a small-scale likeness from your supplied image.

- Production begins after you have approved the render.

Is Photo to Figure as accurate as a 3D body scan?
Is Photo to Figure as accurate as a 3D body scan?
No. Photo to Figure is designed to create a miniature likeness from one or more supplied images. It is ideal for recreating memories, old photographs, family members, historic subjects or people who cannot visit us in person.
For the highest level of accuracy, our 3D body scanning service remains the best option. A scan captures the person’s real pose, proportions, clothing and physical detail directly, rather than interpreting them from a photograph.
PHOTO REQUIREMENTS
What kind of photo works best?
What kind of photo works best?
A clear full-body photo usually gives the best result, ideally showing the person’s pose, clothing and footwear. However, cropped or partial photos can still work if enough detail is visible.
Can you work from cropped photos?
Can you work from cropped photos?
- Yes. We can often work from cropped photos and have produced successful figures from partial images.
- However, missing areas such as hands, shoes, legs, clothing details or body position may need to be interpreted.
- If significant reconstruction is needed, we may ask for extra reference photos or advise of an additional charge before starting.
Can you work from old photographs?
Can you work from old photographs?
