These are truly excellent models and the fine detail can be properly appreciated with a magnifying glass, and when you look, it’s there!
I have used the “3 roller” stools so far and bought a set for practice purposes to see how practical they were to use. I can report that even with my not particularly slender fingers, and with the aid of tweezers and a magnifying glass, the assembly of lengths of rodding is a straightforward process.
I am using 0.4mm square section nickle silver bar for the rods and it fits perfectly.
These make a really excellent addition to the layout and are a critical, integral part of any railway prior to the widespread use of point motors.
These are thoroughly recommended and I shall be buying further stools of different roller numbers to complete this fine scale representation of point operating equipment.
